GREED ENGINE consists of bassist Johnny Ott, singer/guitarist Geoff Ford, and drummer Matt Garden.   Out of New Jersey, Geoff met Johnny at Ohio State and formed their first band, Floater, in 1994.  After many drummers and four cold Ohio Winters,  Geoff and Johnny packed up their things and moved south to the promised land, Florida with hopes of finding that intangible "something" that will boost them into SuperStar status.  After planting roots in Tampa Bay in late 1998, Geoff and Johnny joined up with drummer Matt Garden taking GREED ENGINE on a rampage, appearing in clubs all over the Tampa Bay area, being featured on local compilation CD's and radio shows, opening for national bands like Three Doors Down, and appearing at 98Rock's Livestock twice.
